We’re thrilled to share that Casa Sofia was awarded the Honor Award for Excellence in Built Work, a prestigious recognition of the extraordinary design by our architect, José Fernando Vázquez, and his talented team at HACEDORMAKER. Presented by AIA Puerto Rico, the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects, this award highlights outstanding architectural work and excellence. Since its founding in 1966, the AIA Puerto Rico has been dedicated to raising the standards of architecture across the island.

At the heart of Casa Sofia’s design is the seamless harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces. “We built a structure that truly responds to its surroundings: it opens to the forest, gazes at the ocean, and reaches toward the sky.
