Our journey began with the creation of Casa Sofia, a modern, design-forward oceanfront retreat in Aguadilla. More than just a home, Casa Sofia was a vision brought to life: a place where thoughtful design meets local culture, and where every stay becomes a transformative experience.
In just eight months, Casa Sofia rose to the top 5% of homes on Airbnb, earning Guest Favorite and Superhost status while also receiving the 2024 Excellence in Built Work Award from the AIA-PR (American Institute of Architects). But more than accolades, it earned the love of guests who arrived as strangers and left as family.
From this success, Avitare was born, a boutique hospitality company offering full-service luxury cohosting and property management for owners who want to elevate their investments, and curated vacation experiences for guests who crave authenticity with the polish of a five-star stay.
